Swing Sets Depot Warranty
Under normal use and conditions, swing set manufacturer, Gorilla Playsets™, Inc. ("Gorilla") warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 10 years for structural wood components and one year for all other components (i.e., hardware, plastics, tarps, rope ladder, etc.). Cosmetic defects that do not affect the structural integrity of the product, or natural defects of the wood such as warping, checking or any other physical properties of the wood that do not present a safety hazard, are not covered by this warranty.
There are certain things we prefer our customers to be aware of when they purchase their GorillaTM recreational play sets. We have a specific set of procedures we want our customers to follow should a situation arise where they need to take advantage of our warranty coverage. By closely adhering to these procedures, it ensures you the highest quality service in the timeliest response time possible.
Should the customer find the product to be faulty, dysfunctional or fail to meet their standards in any shape, way or form, please feel free to contact Swing Sets Depot so that they may perform a complete analysis of the purchased product and verify whether or not it falls under the warranty coverage.
We prefer that our customers have the Internet and access to a camera when in correspondence with Swing Sets Depot. The best way to begin the process is to first take pictures, preferably utilizing a digital camera, and take digital pictures of the product from every possible angle to clearly show the flaws and defects of the product. The next step is then to compose an e-mail and send it out to info@swingsetsdepot.com that contains the following pieces of information:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your e-mail address
- Your daytime telephone number
- Date of purchase
- Name of system; i.e. "Royal Palace Extended Height"
- Description of the part, the defect & reference to the picture number; "tarp board, broken at lag, picture #3"
Should the customer not have Internet access and/or a digital camera close at hand, they should take a photograph of the item that clearly portrays the defect and then send a letter with the following information:
- Your name
- Your address
- Your e-mail address
- Your daylight telephone number
- Date of Purchase
- Name of system; i.e. "Royal Palace Extended Height"
- Description of the part, the defect & reference to the picture number; "tarp board, broken at lag, picture #3"
Within 72 hours of filing your claim, you will receive a confirmation response confirming the receipt of the required materials. ALL PARTS AMUST BE RETURNED TO THE SwingSetsDepot.com. LOCATION FOR INSPECTION AND REPLACEMENT. Should your claim be approved under warranty guidelines, parts will be shipped from the SwingSetsDepot.com. warehouse with the freight billed to the retailer on orders 30 days after shipping.
Gorilla™ will repair or, at its discretion, replace any part within the stated warranty period, which is defective in workmanship or materials. This decision is subject to verification of the defect upon delivery of the defective part to Gorilla™ at 1925 Shiloh Road, Building 1, Kennesaw, Georgia 30144. Any part(s) returned to Gorilla™ must include proof of purchase, including the date of purchase.
This warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed and installed at a residential, single-family dwelling. This warranty is void if the product is put to commercial or institutional use. This warranty does not cover (a) products which have been damaged by acts of Nature, negligence, misuse, or accident, or which have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons; (b) the cost of labor; or (c) the cost of shipping the product, any part, or any replacement product or part.
GORILLA™ DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. GORILLA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. This warranty is non-transferrable and does not extend to the owners of the product subsequent to the original purchaser. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these restrictions may not be applicable to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
WARRANTY & DAMAGE
SwingSetsDepot.com provides warranty/replacement for all units hipped during contract. Warranty is in conjunction with Warranty Appendix Document and provides for 30 days after ship date free shipping and parts. Post 30 days warranty/replacements/missing/damage requests.
All warranty issues, damage issues during shipping, or missing items should be e-mailed to support@swingsetdepot.com by Swing Set Depot.
RETURN POLICY
Swing Set Depot understands that return policy set forth is designed to create an easy problem solving strategy during shipping situations.
Standard policy is as follows:
- No returns once package is opened.
- Orders signed and accepted cannot be returned but must accept replacement parts for warranty/damage/missing parts
- Stop shipment for cancel, return, or return unopened after accepted is refunded minus (total freight costs + 25% restock)
This policy applies as long as the items are returned within 30 days and not opened, are defective due to manufacturing (except which applies below in the section titled 'Replacement Parts For Concealed Damage/Defect Freight,' or were incorrectly shipped.
Please call in to receive an authorization number and the correct warehouse address to send the return. Please allow time for shipping, inspection, and up to two additional business days to process your refund. We cannot assume responsibility for misdirected or lost shipments that are returned to us through Swing Set Depot customer.
REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR CONCEALED DAMAGE/DEFECTS/MISSING
Should the situation arise where a package arrives with damaged, defective, or missing parts, SwingSetsDepot.com will ship all replacement parts standard ground delivery (regardless of the initial payment type) unless the consignee chooses to pay for the difference in expedited shipping. Replacement parts are typically shipped out within 48 hour.
If your item was sent via freight truck and it was signed and accepted, the order cannot be returned unless shipping is paid both ways by the customer and the item has not been opened or used/installed. If there is damage or loss in this situation, replacement parts must be issued.
OVER, SHORT, OR DAMAGED FREIGHT
While SwingSetsDepot.com satisfies all ICC packaging regulations, SwingSetsDepot.com makes no guarantee, explicit or implied, as to the condition of freight arrival to the customer. Customers are encouraged to observe and inspect freight upon arrival and make comments pertaining to damage on the freight bill at the time of delivery. Customers observing serve damage may wish to refuse the package, in which case, SwingSetsDepot.com must be notified immediately to issue disposition of the damaged freight and re-ship new packages. Replacement shipments for orders refused due to damages are sent out free of stray on the original freight bill. No additional charges are billed to Swing Set Depot.
CANCEL POLICY
Orders can be canceled up until the point where the order shows finished in the SwingSetsDepot.com system and contains a tracking number. Orders must be canceled on the phone and Swing Set Depot must receive a verbal cancel authorization number.
